Boxing Day Wheel
Boxing Day, wheels still turning, cycling through park, walking, east wind, fingers numb.

The famous toppling telephone boxes in Kingston upon Thames. Sorry about the selective colouring :-)
Salvation Army
Now that most charities employ unnaturally chatty, jerkin-wearing sales teams who post themselves with military strategy at regular intervals along any street, who are no longer interested in paltry donations but only in making you sign up to monthly direct debits, I do find the somewhat more dignified traditional approach of the Salvation Army almost refreshing.
Plus, they always make me think of Marlon Brando and Frank in "Guys and Dolls"
Also responsible for the original 12 step recovery on which most addiction programmes are still based, here they are doing a few xmas tunes outside John Lewis department store.
Have a great holiday everyone, however you choose to spend it!
Happy Birthday!
Your birthday is a special time to celebrate the gift of You' to the world!

Intimate Moment..........
I took this photo in London, one second of a special intimate moment. I like the expression on their faces, even the photo isn't sharp and I took it trough a glass of a restaurant. I would like to know , if there love is still a love

Just brushing up my postcard shooting skills on a very cold night in London.
City of London Cemetery, East London
The Piano Lady: this grave in an obscure part of the cemetery is so well known that the staff can direct you straight to it AND it appears in the cemetery's £5 guidebook available from the main gate.
Gladys Spencer L.L.C.M. was a local music and dance teacher who worked at the Classical Academy of Music and Dancing in Rixon Road, Manor Park. She died on Easter Monday April 6, 1931, aged just 34. She was well known for charity work.
Erected to: "My darling Gladeyes (sic)" the dedication says: "The gardener hath plucked a still rarer flower".

Cold and wet in Trafalgar Square
This is the first of a bunch of shots I'm uploading straight from the 5D MkII camera I was lucky enough to play with yesterday (Thanks to Canon and 1000heads!) The only thing I've done in lightroom is add metadata. This shot is at 6400, ad it could easily pass for 400 from my 400d. The 5 of us believe this must somehow create light! A full review will be up at phillprice.smugmug.com later to bookmark it or subscribe to the RSS feed!

UK - London - Regents Street
Dusk shot of Regents Street, London.
I'd always thought the curve of the street would make for an interesting photo and knew I wanted a blurred London bus so I'm pretty pleased with the way this one's turned out.
Flying!!
The London eye at sunset and I thought by including that plane as it flew pass the eye really adds to this!
