6 de Abril...
...Y me siento a escribir.
Han sonado canciones, me he asomado a miradores, he tomado té (el café no me apetecía), he caminando lento y aún así he tropezado, he transitado avenidas... Es 6 de abril, pero no es 6 de Abril...
Hand in Hand
It was getting dark and shutter slower :-( I don't mind on this shot though.....

One of those many places in London that no matter how many times I see still makes me say wow.
Running stairs up
I bit blurry, I know, but I like it!
I was quick to praise the police for their work during the events of the G20 in London and i have on many other occasions praised them for their professionalism & modern approach to policing.
Unfortunately, the video schowing the scenes preceding the death of Ian Tomlinson during the G20 protests will, i fear, do lasting damage to their reputation and in one strike undo years of hard police work.
There is no excuse for what is shown there, this is pure and simple thuggery for which every normal citizen would be arrested and dragged in front of a judge. If Ian Tomlinson had done something he should have been handcuffed and put in a van to be driven to the station for processing. Hitting him from behind with a baton and then shoving him forcefully forward so that he falls head down onto the pavement is not police work.
This can only be described as an act of brutality, barbarism and cowardice to which the police and indeed society should turn their backs in disapproval. Why did nobody protect this poor chap? Who do we turn to for protection when we fear those who are supposed to protect us?
YOU! BACK! NOW!...
Police not taking chances, Protestors not taking any either...
London 30 St. Mary Axe
30 St Mary Axe, also known as the Gherkin and the Swiss Re Building, is a skyscraper in London's main financial district, the City of London, completed in December 2003 and opened on 28 April 2004. It is 180 metres (591 ft) tall, with 40 floors. Its construction symbolised the start of a new high-rise construction boom in London.

It's Red Nose Day! If any of the red nose themed photos on Flickr this week have made you chuckle, why not give a few pounds to help make a difference? Count up your spare change and donate online, not forgetting to gift aid it!
I'm looking forward to my night in front of the telly. There'll be laughter, there'll be tears...there may even be spillages!
71: After the rain.
Had to go into the town for a dental appointment, I had to wait ages and after my dentist wanted to chat about Japanese netsuke carvings, I couldn`t help wondered about the poor patient after me waiting downstairs and probably feeling quite forgotten.
I took a few shots on the walk back but kept having to dodge the over zealous religious groups who kept trying to inform me of the state of my immortal soul.
Managed to get the work finished and another delighted customer and a cheque warming in my pocket.
I will be away in London for a few days, so have a good weekend yourselves! :)

Today was Family Wylde haircut day! My gorgeous hairdresser, Efi, only works in the salon on Saturdays so a haircut for me becomes a family outing [and no, I can't find another hairdresser, she is my friend and i love her]. So along with my chop violet also gets hers done. Which she loves and in fact, she's been known to fall asleep...

Back to posting my London shots. Taken sometime back but just finally posting it. Taken using the CV 1.4 fully open.
Wasn't sure whether to post this. What do you think?

White Lies // NME Big Gig // O2 London
I was assigned to shoot the DPS poster for the Big gig, so I was at the very back of the Arena, I thought White Lies were the best of the evening. I love The Cure, but dang, they were so Dull. Pretty much the same tempo all night... hardly any of the greatest hits came out.
Check out the magazine next week for pics from the Awards and the Big Gig.
